Portaphile MICRO on Headfonia’s Wayback Wednesday

I hadn’t been on Headfonia for a few months and decided to check out what was new on there today and realized  that they featured the Portaphile MICRO on a wayback Wednesday back in May 2017.   It’s crazy to think the MICRO was first reviewed by Headfonia in 2014.   I can’t believe it’s been that long ago.  I still think it’s one of the best portable amplifiers out there, and I am still building it although I now have a longer wait period since I’m building everything to order.  If you’re interested in any amplifier on my website with the exception of the original V2 then just shoot me an email and I will get back to you with a build time.   Since the MICRO, I’ve designed two new amplifiers the Shohin and the flagship NOK.  I really wish there was some more reviews of the NOK.  I think that amplifier is an awesome beast.   The MICRO still remains a great little amplifier.  My next project is trying to get some of the NOK technology down to MICRO size.  That little project is still in my head and I haven’t begun any designing yet but check back from time to time.  I may just surprise you one day with a new flagship MICRO amplifier.    Happy listening!
