Entry level portable audiophile amplifier that sets a new standard for the affordable audiophile amplifier. X is known as the universal variable. Here is an amplifier that fits that description perfectly. Can be purchased as a high performance basic 3 Channel amplifier but offers easy upgradeability to multiple buffers, class A biasing, internal switches (now standard), and variable gain settings. Built using a triple channel design like the Portaphile V2 but leaves out buffers and exotic components to reach a much lower price point. Uses same high performance analog devices chip, AD8610 X 3, to have a similar sound signature. Can be upgraded to multiple buffers and class A biasing.
